THE GRECIAN ARCHIPELAGO: original drawn by Augustus Petermann, F.R.G.S., from English Admiralty Surveys conducted between 1828 and 1849, and
engraved by Purser, engraved by G. H. Swanston. One of the lovely maps from Fullartons
World Atlas, published c. 1870. Although measuring only 9" x 5.5"
(230mm x 135mm), it contains an astonishing wealth of detail, including a comparative
view of the principal mountain summits. Our reproduction, printed on heavyweight
A3 Super paper, is enlarged almost 100%, allowing this to be appreciated more
easily.
