LIVERPOOL 1830. One of the lovely town plans published by the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge. This is a particularly good example— not only an excellent street plan, reproduced from Gage’s survey, with scales in metres as well as yards, and elevations of the city’s principal buildings, but insets showing a prospect of the city in 1650 the city in 1650, a view of Black Rock lighthouse, and a street plan of 1729.
